Utilizing the <Survey on Reciprocity and Cooperation in Korean Society > Data
Since 2018, the Academy of Korean Studies has conducted a collective research project titled (Principal Investigator: Professor Do-Hyun Han, Department of Sociology). As part of this project, “Survey on Reciprocity and Cooperation in Korean Society” has been conducted to examine various aspects related to reciprocity and cooperation in Korean society.
This survey comprehensively investigates individuals’ social trust, social networks, reciprocal relationships, prosocial practices and attitudes, social exchanges and interactions, attitudes toward community, individualism versus communalism, lifestyles in the digital society, and various other attitudes and practices related to society and individual life. Over the past seven years, an extensive dataset has been accumulated.
This year, to encourage broader utilization of the collected survey data, we are making it available to graduate students and advanced undergraduate students both domestically and internationally. Interested students can review the survey questionnaire and submit a research proposal based on the data. Selected proposals will receive access to the dataset, allowing researchers to conduct their studies and present their findings at a research workshop, where they will also receive feedback.
Please refer to the details below for further information.
